PROSOFT
is a major subcontractor to IBM Global Services on the Submarine
Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP)
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) contract won by the IBM
Team in the summer of 2003. SUBMEPP is a tenant activity at
the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth NH, and provides
maintenance planning for all submarine classes. PROSOFT enjoys
an outstanding relationship with IBM, and with SUBMEPP government
personnel, and many PROSOFTers are recognized as the technical
leads on SUBMEPP development tasks.
The staff
of fifteen (15) (and growing) PROSOFT software development
personnel include ORACLE Database Administrators, Java Programmers,
Access DB Programmers, Cold Fusion Programmers, Business Analysts,
Crystal Reports Programmers and XML Programmers. PROSOFT employees
provide a broad range of skills in every business area including
SUBMEPP's flagship application Maintenance and Ship Work Planning
(M&SWP), as well as eBusiness and support services. PROSOFT
has also played a major role in SUBMEPP's vision for the future,
and has helped create alliances with the surface fleet and
to share resources.
An example
of how well the SUBMEPP ERP System works is the (CSI) Carrier
Submarine Initiative begun in 2004. A new delivery order was
issued to create a bridge between the SUBMEPP M&SWP and
Carrier Planning Activity (CPA) Maintenance Availability Management
System (MAMS) applications. Continued work in these areas
will ensure a long and fruitful relationship between PROSOFT,
IBM and SUBMEPP.
