PROSOFT provides
an equitable total compensation package to its employees based upon
local practice, industry standards and employee performance. Our
employees deserve and enjoy the benefit of the following programs:
Adoption
Assistance - Adoption assistance is available through the Flexible
Spending Account/Section 125 plan. Expenses up to $10,000 may be
withheld from employee's pay on a pre-tax basis. This is in addition
to the $10,000 that can be claimed on your income taxes as a tax
credit.
Dental
Insurance - Dental Coverage is through Cigna Dental, to include
Diagnostic, Preventive, Basic, and Major Services.
Education
Assistance - Student Loans may be obtained by the U. S. Chamber
of Commerce competitive interest rates.
Employee
Assistance Program - The Employee Assistance Program,
(EAP) can help you find solutions for problems relating to
marital conflict, family violence, depression, financial stress,
and many other topics.
Employee
Referral Program - Employee Referral awards of $500 will be paid
for all technical or managerial hires.
Flexible
Spending Account - Allows employees to set-aside pre-tax dollars from pay to pay for your portion
of the cost of medical insurance, unreimbursed medical expenses,
and cost of dependent care expenses.
Holidays - PROSOFT grants 10
paid holidays per year, to all full-time employees.
Hospital Protection Plan - An AFLAC plan that is designed to help cover the expenses associated with annual hospitalization confinement, daily hospital confinement, wellness and more. The bi-weekly cost is based on your age and offers coverage for employee only, one parent family, employee and spouse, or two parent family.
Long
Term Disability - Long Term Disability (LTD) is provided
by PROSOFT through Reliance Standard Life Insurance.
LTD begins on the 91st day of disability and covers 66 2/3%
of your salary. This benefit is paid directly to you
on a monthly basis.
Legal
Benefit - Available to full-time employees.
Life
Insurance - $10,000 term life insurance policy provided
by PROSOFT.
Medical Insurance
- Employees are offered United Health Care (UHC) Insurance in the form of a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). An accompanying Health Saving Account (HSA) is also offered to deduct pre-tax funds to cover the deductible, should services be needed beyond preventive care. An HSA balance may be carried over year-to-year (no "use or lose" limitation) with the earnings free from taxes. The HSA may be used for medical expenses through age 65, afterward for medical expenses without tax consequence or for any expense that becomes taxable.
Personal
Accident Expense Plan - An AFLAC plan that is designed to help
cover the expenses associated with an accidental injury and pays
benefits for emergency treatment, initial hospitalization, hospital
confinement, specific-sum injuries, accidental death, wellness and
more.
Personal
Cancer and Dreaded Disease Protector Plan - Offered through AFLAC, the plan benefits include payment for: first
occurrence, hospital confinement, radiation and chemotherapy, cancer
screening wellness, surgical/anesthesia, home health care, and much
more.
Personal
Leave - 16 days per year. After
3 years of service employee accrues 22 days; and after 10
years employee accrues 28 days of leave per year.
Pet
Insurance - Veterinary Pet
Insurance
helps pay for lab fees, treatments, prescriptions, surgery, covering
more than 6,400 medical problems and conditions related to accidents
and illnesses.
Profit
Sharing - PROSOFT makes a discretionary contribution to all
eligible employees. The contribution is based on a percentage
of each employee's actual compensation.
Short Term Disability -
Short Term Disability (STD) is available to employees through Reliance
Standard Life Insurance. STD begins on the eight day of illness
or injury and continues for 12 weeks. The benefit is 66 2/3%
of your salary and is paid directly to you on a weekly basis.
Supplemental Life
Insurance - Coverage available to all full-time employees.
May also elect coverage for spouse and children.
Travelers
Accident Insurance - Covers employees 24
hours while traveling on business away from the premises of
the Policyholder. Cigna will pay the benefits in the policy
for any accident, which occurs anywhere in the world while
a covered person is on a business trip, is traveling or making
a short stay.
TRICARE
Supplement - Designed to pay cost share under the TRICARE
"Extra" and TRICARE "Standard" options.
Tuition Reimbursement -
Reimbursement of technical classes and college courses to
include tuition, books, and parking.
Vision
Insurance - Vision
insurance is offered through EYEMED
Vision Care Plan. In-network services are available by utilizing
the services of an EYEMED Participating Provider. Co-Payments: $10
exam, $10 optical materials. The following benefits are available
after the applicable co-payment(s) are met: Vision exam, lenses,
frames and contact lenses.
401(K)
Retirement Plan - The 401K Savings Plan is available to
full-time and part-time employees the first of the month following
the employment start date. Employees will be eligible
for the company match and profit sharing after six months
of employment.
